A disclaimer: HalfDate lent some money to some needy families and they can’t pay back the loans. So, in a way, you are helping us to continue HalfDate service. So, if one of these drives got selected, we will take what they owe us and give anything extra to them (if their condition still qualifies for Zakah or give to some other needy families).

As salaamu alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. All of the drives are important that is a hard one to choose. I believe without halfdate the other drives will not be helped quickly. keep halfdate alive for the other drives to happen insha’Allah.

Masha’Allah I mailed a bilingual French/Arabic Qur’an to a masjid in Port Au Prince, Haiti. would like to see other brothers and sisters join in sending Islamic materials down to Haiti to aid the Musloims down there not only in recovery of lost or damaged materials but to help them do dawa. I was only able to do this because the sender pulled the French qur’an for me instead of the Spanish one I requested. He later sent me the Spanish one so I can do Spanish dawa and he suggested I mail the French one down to Haiti which I did. May Allah bless any other brothers and sisters who send books, discs or pamphlets down to Haiti to support our bothers and sisters down there.
What address did you mail the materials to in Haiti. We have plenty of stuff to send that they can use. Just did not know you could mail anything. Please share the address.

Yes, Sister Naida is very much correct, nothing could be done without Halfdate. So why not donate to a general fund for them. Each of the other funds have merits on their own, but this has the greatest in my mind for the overall good it can do for the many InshAllaah. Just my 2 cents….

I want to help Half Date and want to be very much an active member and follow all your Drives. MAsha Allah, you are doing an excellent job, JAZAAAKAHLLAHU KHAIR.
I may be not be able to donate money, because i only work for 3000 (Maldivian Rufiyaa that is 233USD) a month. But INSHA ALLAH, i will try to send money someday. I am sorry for that, but i will always keep on praying for the good of all the Brothers and Sisters that are in need of help.
